Meet Anneli: Customer Coordinator at Paragon Nordic
What do you do at Paragon Nordic?
I’m a Customer Coordinator! I’ve actually worked as a Customer Coordinator at Paragon Nordic in two rounds, but back then — the first 11 years — it was called Inside Sales.
Why did you switch jobs and come back?
I really enjoyed working at Paragon; I was here for 11 years, as I mentioned. But then I got curious and wanted to try something different. So, I started working at a company whose products are manufactured by Paragon Nordic and stayed there for 5-6 years. That gave me valuable experience, which is useful in my current role — especially the importance of keeping one's word. Then I found my way back to Paragon. Why? I like the people who work here and the energetic atmosphere in the building.
What is your background?
I’ve always worked in sales and customer relations. For a while, I worked in the health food industry and later with fuel for major operators. It was probably a bit of chance that brought me here. I enjoy customer interaction, and I’m not really into just crunching numbers. I want to have customer relations, ideally on a daily basis.
What does your current role include?
I plan new productions and handle overall production planning with our customers. I also do a lot to ensure that all components are available — like lids, buttons, containers, raw materials — everything that comes together to create a finished product. I also make sure we have the latest artwork designs ready for printing. And, of course, that the customer is informed about where we are in the process and if anything has changed along the way.
This means I have daily contact with our buyers, product developers, and colleagues in production, as well as with our regulatory department. There are many changes with laws and regulations right now, so we really need their expertise. As a Customer Coordinator, you also always work closely with a Salesperson. They need us, and we need them.
What’s the best part of your job?
Many things! Following the journey with the customer from idea to finished product, seeing the customer’s reaction when they first see the product exactly as they envisioned it, the close cooperation between departments, and the fact that there’s so much variety — something new happens every day!
Are there any particular skills or qualities you've developed during your time at the company?
The importance of being attentive and interested, and the ability to collaborate with colleagues. Everyone is equally important in getting the final product together. We’re all part of a chain that needs to run smoothly. There’s no "us" and "them" here; it’s just "we."
What’s the best part about working at Paragon Nordic?
The camaraderie among colleagues. We always have fun at work, with plenty of laughs, even if, of course, there are serious moments, too. But here, everyone brings a bit of humor.
And everyone is so helpful. You never have to sit alone with your work; there’s always someone ready to pitch in. That really sets Paragon Nordic apart from other workplaces. Plus, the balance between work and free time. It’s just not that complicated here.
